From the beginning Cumbrian Homes recognised the importance of quality and built on this over the years to develop a reputation in Cumbria for building traditional quality homes.



Cumbrian Homes was initially a division of a larger Civil Engineering company, Cumbrian Industrials Ltd, responsible for larger commercial projects and infrastructure development as well as residential housing throughout the North of England. Today, at Cumbrian Homes Ltd, we continue to combine that wealth of experience with the increased flexibility of our more specific operation.  

Securing sought after locations, using expertise of our own workforce and specialist local tradesmen, attention to detail is paramount. Building with a high specification throughout we create the quality homes our buyers have come to expect. By listening to and learning from our buyers, we continually improve our designs to create homes that excel our reputation.

From small developments and conversions we went from strength to strength building our largest development to date in Penrith, which won awards on more than one occasion; this development started our first venture into more bespoke properties. Today, building on that success, we are continuing that trend on some of our new developments.
